The General Assembly of the Arab Union for Military Sports held its 32nd meeting and the Executive Office No. 49 of the Arab Union for Military Sports and its supporting committees, the Main Technical Committee No. 40 and the Media Committee No. 26 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) during the period from 15 to 21 April 2017, Head of the Union, Brigadier General Dr. Hadi bin Bakr Al-Qahtani, Major General Dr. Majdi Al-Lozi, Vice President of the Arab Union for Military Sports, and First Advisor Dessouki Tharwat Abaza, General of the Arab Union for Military Sports and members of delegations from 16 Arab countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, And Yemen.
The opening speech was delivered by Major-General Rayan Saad Ali Al-Qarni, in which he welcomed the heads and members of the delegations of the participating Arab countries, wishing them good meetings and a good stay in their second Saudi Arabia.
Then the First Advisor / Desouki Tharwat Abaza Secretary General of the Arab Union for Military Sports and Director of the Department of Military Affairs at the League of Arab States delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and conveyed the greetings of Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States.
Maj. Gen. Magdy Mohamed Al Lozi, Vice President of the Federation, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendance and wished them a successful meeting. The meeting was also attended by First Advisor Tariq Abdel Salam Baltagi from the Department of Military Affairs at the League of Arab States, Ali Bader Ahmed, Mali Union).
The committee discussed the minutes of the meeting of the two previous committees, as well as the reports of the second Arab military judo championship and the physical preparation seminar for the officers of the Arab armed forces in Cairo. The plan was also discussed to prepare the general technical regulations for the organization of competitions and sports courses. Sports activities and programs of the Union from 2017 to 2020 and identify the supervisors of these championships of the technical and media committees.

Two new members of Tunisia and Algeria, Brigadier General Munir Abeichou (Tunisia) and Brigadier General Quraish Omar (Algeria), were also appointed to the Executive Committee to become 11 members instead of 9 members. .
The most important decisions adopted at the meetings of the General Assembly and the Executive Office (adoption of the draft statute of the Arab Union of Military Sports, the financial position of the Union, the budget of 2017, activities in 2017 and the adoption of supervisors).
In conclusion, the General Assembly of the Arab Union of Military Sports (AMAF) expressed its thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its generosity, people, government and army for its hospitality, hospitality and good organization, which had a great impact on the successful success of these meetings.
